About this garment

Two waste streams, one garment. The Reform High Neck is built from pre-consumer cotton waste and recycled plastic bottles - materials that would otherwise end up in landfills or oceans. Cut into a relaxed, heavier form. The zip runs the full length. The hood sits without bulk. Nothing new was extracted to make it.

Cotton: 57% recycled pre-consumer industrial cotton waste. Approximately 390g of cotton is diverted per garment.
PET: 38% recycled plastic bottles. Approximately 4.73 bottles recycled per tee.
Dyeing: Zero dyes. The colour comes from the waste itself.
Form: Soft, breathable. Feels like virgin cotton. Unisex fit.

About the material

Organic cotton - grown without compromise.

Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or insecticides. The farming process uses significantly less water than conventional cotton cultivation - 59% less, in the case of our supplier's fields - and the absence of chemicals means healthier soil, cleaner waterways, and a fabric that is genuinely safer for sensitive skin.

Hand-picking preserves fibre length, which is what gives this fabric its softness and durability. Machine-picked cotton breaks fibres shorter. Ours doesn't.

What GOTS means

The most comprehensive certification in fashion.

GOTS : The Global Organic Textile Standard - covers the entire supply chain from the field to the finished garment: growing conditions, dyeing and finishing processes, and the working conditions of everyone who touched the fabric.

Our certification number is available on the product detail card included with every order. You can look it up at global-standard.org.

01

What is EcoJay's Organic Cotton certified to?

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) - the gold standard for organic textiles, covering both environmental and social criteria from raw fibre to finished garment. Certified and audited by Intertek.

02

What does GOTS certification mean in practice?

It means no synthetic pesticides or fertilisers at the growing stage, restrictions on chemical processing throughout production, and social compliance criteria covering labour conditions.

03

Is EcoJay Organic Cotton fully natural?

Yes - no synthetic blends, no recycled synthetics. For buyers and consumers who want a chemically clean fibre with traceable certification, this is the product.

04

Is it suitable for sensitive skin or eco-label claims?

GOTS certification is widely recognised by eco-labelling schemes and sustainable procurement frameworks. Full certification documentation, including scope and audit details, is available from our wholesale team.

05

How does it perform for decoration?

Organic cotton responds well to screen printing, DTG, and embroidery. Surface consistency and print adhesion are comparable to conventional cotton.
